Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced IBDP English Teacher to deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons and develop students’ critical thinking, communication, literary analysis, and academic writing skills in line with the IB curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver IBDP English lessons aligned with IB curriculum requirements.
Develop students’ reading, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Prepare students for IBDP assessments and examinations.
Guide students with coursework, Internal Assessments, and academic writing.
Conduct formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback.
Use student-centred and inquiry-based teaching approaches.
Monitor student progress and provide academic support.




Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities and professional development.
Requirements
Master’s degree in English / Literature / Education.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in schools.
IBDP/International Curriculum experience preferred.
Robust knowledge of English Language & Literature.
Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
Ability to use technology effectively in teaching.
Preferred Skills
Strong literary analysis and academic writing skills.
Understanding of IB assessment criteria.
Ability to mentor and support students academically.
Team-oriented and adaptable approach.
