Job Description
Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities as per approved drawings and specifications.
Read and interpret structural, architectural, and working drawings.
Ensure construction work complies with relevant Indian Standard (IS) Codes and project specifications.
Monitor concreting, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, and finishing work.
Check reinforcement bar diameter, spacing, lap length, development length, cover, and bar bending schedules.
Conduct quality checks on cement, aggregates, steel, concrete, and other construction materials.
Coordinate concrete sampling, slump tests, cube tests, and other site quality tests.
Maintain daily progress reports, site measurements, inspection reports, and material records.
Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, consultants, and project managers.
Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and approved method statements.
