Bartender - Job Description

A Bartender works in the bar section of a restaurant, hotel, club, or lounge and is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests while providing excellent customer service .

Main Responsibilities
Drink Preparation :
Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages .
Follow standard recipes and presentation styles.
Customer Service :
Greet guests at the bar and take drink orders.
Recommend drinks and explain menu items.
Bar Setup :
Prepare the bar area before service (glasses, garnishes, ice, ingredients).
Ensure the bar is well stocked.
Cleaning & Hygiene :
Keep the bar counter, tools, and glassware clean.
Follow safety and hygiene standards.
Inventory Control :




Monitor stock of alcohol, mixers, and bar supplies.
Inform the manager when stock is low.
Handling Payments :
Prepare bills and process customer payments if required.

Skills Required
Knowledge of cocktails and beverage mixing :
Valuable communication and customer service :
Ability to work in a quick-paced workplace :
Basic knowledge of bar equipment and glassware

Qualification
12th pass or Diploma in Bartending / Hotel Management :
Experience in bar service is preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
