Key Responsibilities
Material Management : Receive, unload, and verify material quantity and quality against Purchase Orders (PO) and Delivery Challans.
Inventory Control : Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP software or Excel, performing regular stock checks and reconciliations.
Material Issuance : Issue materials to contractors and engineers based on authorized requisitions and maintain material issue notes.
Stock Rotation : Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) for materials to prevent wastage.
Store Maintenance : Organize the storehouse efficiently to ensure secure, secure, and clean storage conditions.
Documentation & Reporting : Prepare daily/weekly/monthly store reports on stock consumption, shortages, and arrivals.
Coordination : Collaborate with project engineers, site supervisors, and the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment. [1, 2, 3]
