Job Description

A hospital in Narasaraopet, Palnadu District, Andhra Pradesh, is urgently looking for an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist for a full-time position.

The hospital is seeking a skilled specialist who can independently manage Ophthalmology OPD consultations and perform ophthalmic surgeries according to their qualifications and surgical expertise.

Candidates who can join within 10 days are preferred. Telugu-speaking doctors will be given priority, as effective communication with local patients is important for this role. Knowledge of English and basic Hindi is also desirable.

An attractive salary package of ₹3 lakh to ₹5 lakh per month is offered, depending on qualifications, experience, and surgical proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage daily Ophthalmology OPD consultations and patient evaluations.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of eye conditions.
- Independently perform ophthalmic surgeries within the candidate's area of expertise.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and provide post-operative care and follow-up.
- Explain diagnoses, treatment options, and surgical procedures to patients and their families.




- Maintain accurate patient records and follow appropriate clinical and patient safety protocols.
- Coordinate with hospital staff to ensure effective delivery of ophthalmology services.

Qualifications and Requirements

- MS/MD in Ophthalmology or DNB in Ophthalmology.
- Relevant experience in independently managing OPD consultations and performing ophthalmic surgeries.
- Language preference: Telugu-speaking candidates will be given priority.
- Ability to communicate in English; basic Hindi is desirable.
- Candidates available to join within 10 days are strongly preferred.
- Good clinical judgement, surgical skills, and patient management abilities.

Salary and Benefits
