Accountant – Tally Prime, MS Excel & E-commerce Accounting

Job Summary

Macrosmart Private Limited is looking for a sincere, responsible, and detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting operations. The candidate should have practical knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel and be willing to handle outdoor banking activities as required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Invoicing

- Prepare and enter sales invoices for offline business transactions.
- Manage sales invoice entries for e-commerce business.
- Maintain accurate sales records and customer ledgers.
- Assist in reconciling e-commerce sales reports with accounting records.

2. Purchase Accounting

- Enter purchase invoices and supplier bills in Tally Prime.
- Maintain purchase records and supplier ledgers.
- Verify invoices and supporting documents for accuracy.

3. Employee Expenses & General Accounting

- Enter employee expenses, reimbursement claims, and office expenses in Tally Prime.
- Maintain expense vouchers and supporting bills.
- Perform day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.

4. Banking & Outdoor Activities

- Visit banks for cheque deposits, document submissions, and routine banking work.
- Handle cheque collection and other banking-related tasks.




- Maintain records of cheque deposits and banking transactions.

5. Tally Prime & MS Excel

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in Tally Prime.
- Use MS Excel for data entry, accounting reports, and reconciliations.
- Prepare basic accounting summaries and reports as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- B.Com or equivalent commerce qualification preferred.
- Practical working knowledge of Tally Prime is mandatory.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Understanding of sales invoices, purchase invoices, and expense entries.
- E-commerce accounting experience will be an added advantage.
- Must be comfortable with outdoor banking work.
- Positive attention to detail, honesty, punctuality, and organizational skills.

Experience

1–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred. Freshers with strong practical knowledge of Tally Prime and Excel may also apply.
