Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Executive – Freight Forwarding Operations, Pricing & Customer Service to support our international freight forwarding and logistics clients. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in freight forwarding operations, rate procurement, pricing, shipment coordination, and customer service for air and ocean freight.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth shipment execution, preparing competitive quotations, coordinating with overseas agents and carriers, and providing timely updates and support to customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Freight Forwarding Operations

- Handle end-to-end air and ocean freight operations, including import and export shipments.
- Coordinate bookings, shipment documentation, cargo tracking, pre-alerts, and delivery updates.
- Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and customs brokers.
- Monitor shipment milestones and proactively resolve operational issues.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with applicable procedures.

2. Pricing & Rate Management

- Obtain and negotiate freight rates with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, and vendors.
- Prepare and submit competitive quotations for air and ocean freight shipments.
- Calculate freight charges, surcharges, and other applicable costs accurately.
- Maintain updated rate sheets and pricing records.
- Follow up on quotations and coordinate with sales and operations teams to convert business opportunities.

3. Customer Service

- Respond promptly to customer enquiries regarding rates, bookings, shipment status, and documentation.
- Provide regular shipment updates and ensure timely communication with customers.
- Handle customer complaints, delays, and service-related issues professionally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients and overseas partners.




- Ensure customer satisfaction through accurate information and timely resolution of queries.

4. Documentation & Reporting

- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including HAWB/MAWB and HBL/MBL, as applicable.
- Maintain shipment records, operational reports, and quotation trackers.
- Coordinate invoicing and verify shipment-related charges where required.
- Ensure data accuracy and adherence to internal SLAs and quality standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- 4–5+ years of hands-on experience in freight forwarding or international logistics.
- Robust knowledge of air and ocean freight operations, including import and export procedures.
- Practical experience in freight pricing, rate procurement, and quotation preparation.
- Excellent customer service, communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, email communication, and logistics software or freight management systems.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience supporting international freight forwarding clients or overseas operations.
- Exposure to international shipping documentation, carrier coordination, and agent networks.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a customer-focused approach.
- Candidates with experience in a freight forwarding company or logistics BPO/KPO environment are preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
