Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records Technician to manage and maintain accurate, confidential, and secure medical records. The Medical Records Officer will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, facilitate retrieval of records for clinical, administrative, and legal purposes, and contribute to improving healthcare delivery.

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for receiving IP and OP files, assembling them making entry and filing them accordingly.

2. Prepare deficiency list for previous day OP files.

3. According to the appointment list received, OP files are to be issued to the Reception.

4. Indoor case sheet paper should be prepared and Issued based on patient or insurance queries.

5. Documents received from clinical departments should be filed accurately.

6. Accident register collected from Emergency department should be intimated to concerned police station.

7. Co-ordinate with Medtech staff for receiving non-appointment files and emails the same to respective OP consultants.

8.



For MLC cases intimation has to be given to the Police department and respective documents should be couriered immediately.

9. Before making any name corrections in patients medical records prior approval has to obtain and details can be crosschecked with Government ID like Aaadhar card, Licence.

10. Cleaning protocol should be followed everyday.

11. All activities and updates should be shared with the Medical Records Officer.

12. Any other duties and responsibilities applicable and as assigned by the management to your position.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications Needed:

Education: B.Sc/Diploma in Medical Record Technology or B.Sc. in Medical Record Science

Experience: Minimum of 01 years of experience in Medical Records in a hospital or healthcare environment.

Skills: Solid technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and familiarity with hospital infrastructure systems.
