Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Tender Painter to prepare, prime, paint, and finish emergency fire vehicles (fire tenders, water tankers, rescue vehicles, etc.). The ideal candidate has experience in industrial or automotive painting, ensuring that all vehicles meet stringent quality, corrosion-resistance, and high-visibility safety standards required for emergency response equipment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Surface Preparation

- Inspect vehicle bodies (fabricated steel, aluminum, and fiberglass) for surface defects, dents, or welding marks.
- Clean, degrease, sand, and mask vehicle surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of primers and paints.
- Apply body fillers, putty, and sanding techniques to achieve a smooth, even finish.

2. Priming and Coating Application

- Mix and apply anti-corrosive primers, undercoats, and sealers to protect metal surfaces from rust and harsh environmental conditions.
- Apply industrial-grade topcoats, specialized fire-service red paints, or custom color schemes according to client specifications and regulatory standards.
- Ensure uniform thickness, smooth texture, and gloss consistency using spray guns and automated painting equipment.

3. Specialized Markings and Detailing





- Perform clear-coating and polishing to achieve a durable, high-gloss finish resistant to UV rays, chemicals, and extreme weather.

4. Quality Control & Maintenance

- Inspect painted surfaces for runs, sags, orange peel, dust nibs, or thin spots; perform touch-ups and corrective polishing as necessary.
- Maintain, clean, and properly store painting equipment (spray guns, air compressors, hoses, sanding tools) and the paint booth.
- Adhere strictly to hazardous waste disposal regulations and environmental standards regarding paint overspray and chemical management.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of proven experience as an automotive painter, industrial painter, or commercial vehicle painter (experience with emergency vehicles or large trucks is a robust plus).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in operating conventional and HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spray guns.
- Strong knowledge of automotive paints, polyurethane coatings, epoxies, and primers.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, work in confined or elevated positions

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
