- Operate laser engraving machines to mark or engrave jewellery items as per approved specifications.
- Perform HUID marking and other authorised identification markings wherever required.
- Ensure the accuracy, clarity, alignment, and proper positioning of engravings.
- Verify item details and marking instructions before starting the engraving process.
- Handle gold, silver, and other jewellery items carefully to prevent scratches, damage, or loss.
- Inspect engraved items to ensure the marking is explicit, accurate, and meets the required standards.
- Coordinate with the QC team to ensure that engraved jewellery meets quality requirements.
- Identify and report marking errors, damaged items, and machine-related issues to the concerned supervisor.
- Maintain the laser engraving machine and work area in a clean and organised condition.
- Follow machine operating procedures, safety guidelines, and preventive maintenance instructions.
- Maintain records of completed engraving work and report daily production details to the supervisor.
- Complete assigned work within the specified timelines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
