Role Overview

We are looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and student-focused Full-Time IELTS Faculty member who is passionate about teaching English, developing students’ language proficiency and helping them achieve their desired IELTS band scores.

As an IELTS Faculty member, you will be responsible for delivering structured IELTS training, assessing students’ current proficiency levels, developing their Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking skills, and preparing them to perform confidently in the examination.

You will create an engaging learning environment, monitor individual student progress, provide constructive feedback and implement effective teaching strategies to improve learning outcomes. You will also work closely with the Coaching and Counselling teams to ensure a positive student experience and support the organisation’s training quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct full-time IELTS classes covering Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking modules.
- Assess students’ English proficiency levels and identify individual learning gaps.
- Develop and deliver structured lesson plans aligned with the IELTS examination format and assessment criteria.
- Teach effective examination strategies, time-management techniques and question-solving approaches.
- Provide detailed guidance on IELTS Writing Task 1 and Task 2, including grammar, vocabulary, coherence, cohesion and task response.
- Conduct regular Speaking practice sessions, mock interviews and pronunciation improvement activities.
- Train students in Listening and Reading techniques to improve accuracy, comprehension and speed.
- Conduct regular mock tests, practice assessments and performance evaluations.
- Evaluate students’ written and spoken responses and provide specific, constructive feedback for improvement.
- Track individual student progress, attendance, performance and readiness for the IELTS examination.




- Identify students requiring additional support and provide remedial sessions or individual guidance.
- Help students set realistic band-score goals and develop improvement plans based on their performance.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, test scores, feedback and academic progress.
- Ensure classes commence and conclude as per the prescribed timetable and maintain discipline in the classroom.
- Prepare and update teaching materials, practice exercises, worksheets, presentations and assessment resources.
- Stay updated on IELTS examination formats, assessment criteria, teaching methodologies and relevant examination updates.
- Coordinate with the Coaching Head and other faculty members to maintain consistent teaching quality and academic standards.
- Support the counselling team by providing accurate academic assessments of students’ English proficiency and training requirements.
- Collect student feedback, identify areas for improvement and contribute to better student satisfaction and learning outcomes.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, academic integrity and confidentiality of student information.

Candidate Profile

- 1–5 years of experience in IELTS teaching, English language training or a related teaching role.
- Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and sentence construction.
- Good understanding of all four IELTS modules: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in simple, practical and student-friendly language.
- Strong classroom management, communication and presentation skills.




- Ability to assess students objectively and provide constructive, actionable feedback.
- Patient, approachable and capable of handling students with different proficiency levels.
- Results-oriented approach with a focus on improving student performance and achieving target band scores.
- Strong planning, time-management and classroom organisation skills.
- Willingness to learn, adopt new teaching methods and continuously improve subject knowledge.
- IELTS certification or a demonstrable record of IELTS teaching proficiency will be an advantage.
