Job Title: Junior Pipe Stress Engineer

Location: Kochi, India

Department: Mechanical Engineering / Piping Division

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct pipe stress analysis using software tools such as CAESAR II.

· Review and analyze piping layouts and GA drawings using AutoCAD.

· Interface with contractors to optimize routing and support strategies based on stress results.

· Evaluate loads at equipment nozzles (pumps, blowers, heat exchangers, tanks) and propose design modifications where necessary.

· Familiarity with piping materials used in water, wastewater, and HVAC systems (e.g., GI, CS, HDPE, GRP, etc.).

· Coordinate with structural teams to ensure proper integration of pipe supports, anchors, and load transmission.

· Generate stress analysis reports and documentation for internal review and client submission.

· Assist in development of technical standards, procedures, and best practices for pipe stress engineering.





· Review vendor technical data, support selection of expansion joints, spring supports.

· Review and analyze piping layouts, isometrics, and support drawings to ensure code compliance and system integrity.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

· Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).

· 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in pipe stress analysis.

· Hands-on experience or academic project exposure with CAESAR II or equivalent.

· Basic understanding of ASME B31.1, B31.3, or B31.9 codes.

· Robust analytical mindset and willingness to learn cross-functional coordination.

· Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

· Knowledge in Hydraulics (Nice to have).

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
