Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Optometrist to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in comprehensive eye examinations, pre- and post-operative care, and advanced diagnostic procedures. This role demands clinical expertise and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams, refractions, and contact lens fittings
- Conduct detailed pre-operative and post-operative evaluations for cataract, refractive, and glaucoma surgeries
- Use advanced diagnostic tools including OCT, topography, perimetry, specular microscopy, and optical biometry
- Assist ophthalmologists in outpatient procedures
- Counsel patients regarding treatment plans, IOL options, and follow-up care
- Ensure compliance with JCI and NABH protocols in patient documentation and care delivery
- supervise junior optometrists and clinical staff
- Support quality initiatives and clinical audits.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Optometry from a recognized institution
- Proficiency in handling ophthalmic diagnostic equipment
- Strong communication skills and patient-centric approach
- Prior experience in a JCI/NABH-accredited setup is preferred
