Reporting To: Site Engineer / Project Manager

Job Summary

The Site Supervisor will be responsible for supervising daily construction activities at the site, managing labour, monitoring work progress, and ensuring that work is carried out according to the instructions of the Site Engineer and company management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Site Supervision: Supervise day-to-day construction activities, including road work, culverts, boundary walls, drainage, RCC structures, earthwork, and other civil works.

2. Labour Management: Ensure labour attendance, proper allocation of duties, and efficient utilization of the workforce.

3. Work Execution: Ensure all work is carried out according to the instructions and layout provided by the Site Engineer.

4. Material Management: Monitor the use of cement, steel, sand, aggregate, bricks, and other construction materials to minimize wastage.

5. Work Progress: Ensure daily targets are achieved and immediately report delays or obstacles to the Site Engineer.

6. Quality Control: Monitor the quality of workmanship and report any defects or deviations.

7. Machinery Management: Ensure proper utilization of machinery, equipment, and vehicles at the site.

8. Daily Reporting: Send daily progress reports, labour attendance, material requirements, and clear site photographs/videos to the company group.

9. Safety and Discipline: Maintain safety standards, site cleanliness, and discipline among workers.

10. Measurement Assistance:



Assist the Site Engineer in taking measurements and maintaining records of completed work.

11. Material Reconciliation: Keep track of material consumption and report shortages or unusual wastage.

12. Coordination: Coordinate with labour contractors, machine operators, suppliers, and other site staff as directed.

13. Site Responsibility: Remain present at the site during working hours and ensure that work continues smoothly without unnecessary interruptions.

14. Next-Day Planning: Inform the Site Engineer about the next day’s labour, machinery, and material requirements in advance.

Required Skills

* Experience in civil construction site supervision.

* Basic knowledge of civil construction activities and materials.

* Ability to manage labour and coordinate with site staff.

* Basic understanding of construction drawings and measurements.

* Good communication and reporting skills.

* Responsible, punctual, and disciplined.

Daily Reporting Requirements

The Site Supervisor must submit the following details every day:

* Labour attendance and total manpower.

* Work completed during the day.

* Machinery and vehicles present at the site.

* Materials received and consumed.

* Site photographs and videos.

* Problems or delays at the site.

* Material and labour requirements for the next day.

Important Instructions: The Site Supervisor must follow the instructions of the Site Engineer and company management, maintain proper site discipline, prevent material wastage, and ensure that all assigned work progresses efficiently and on schedule.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
