Puppys Bakery is looking for a passionate and creative Pastry Chef / CDP to join our growing team in Madurai. If you have strong expertise in premium Western desserts and enjoy working in a fast-paced, innovation-driven bakery, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Production of premium Western desserts and plated pastries
- Expertise in cheesecakes, entremets, mousse cakes, tarts, brownies, tea cakes, and dessert jars
- Preparation of artisan croissants, Danish pastries, laminated doughs, and viennoiserie
- Recipe standardization and quality control
- New product development and seasonal menu creation
- Managing production schedules and maintaining consistency across batches
- Training and supervising junior pastry staff
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organization standards
Requirements
- 7–8 years of skilled pastry experience
- Strong knowledge of modern pastry techniques and dessert presentation
- Hands-on experience with:
- Cheesecakes
- Entremets & mousse cakes
- Croissants & laminated doughs
- Artisan breads and viennoiserie
- Chocolate work and garnishing
- Ability to work independently and lead a production team
- Passion for innovation and attention to detail
