Job Description – Senior Staff Nurse

Job Summary

Oncowin Cancer Center is looking for a skilled and responsible Senior Staff Nurse to provide quality patient care, supervise nursing activities, and ensure compliance with hospital protocols. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with doctors and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide quality nursing care to patients and monitor their health conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
- Monitor vital signs and promptly report any changes in patient conditions.
- Assist doctors during clinical procedures and medical emergencies.
- Guide and support junior nursing staff in daily clinical activities.
- Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes, and medication charts.
- Ensure proper infection control practices and patient safety standards.
- Follow hospital policies, nursing protocols,



and quality standards.
- Coordinate with doctors and other departments for effective patient care.
- Ensure proper handover of patient information during shift changes.

Educational Qualification

- B.Sc. Nursing or GNM from a recognized institute.
- Valid nursing registration with the respective State Nursing Council.

Required Skills

- Strong clinical and patient-care skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Leadership and team coordination skills.
- Knowledge of infection control and hospital safety protocols.
- Ability to handle emergencies and work in a hospital environment.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidates with relevant hospital nursing experience.
- Oncology or cancer-care experience will be an added advantage.
- Responsible, compassionate, and committed to patient safety.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
