Job Description – Site Service Field Engineer (Mechanical)

Department: Project & Service

Job Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Project Management

- Supervise machine installation and site activities.
- Coordinate with customers and team members.
- Ensure timely project completion and quality work.

2. Machine Installation & Service

- Install and commission Grinding, Drilling and Tapping Machines.
- Perform machine alignment, leveling, fitting and troubleshooting.
- Handle machine breakdowns, repairs and preventive maintenance.

3. Machine Assembly & Marking

- Perform mechanical unit assembly and component fitting.
- Follow mechanical drawings and technical instructions.
- Check machine quality, marking and final assembly.

4. Purchase & Dispatch Management

- Coordinate with the purchase department for required materials.
- Follow up with vendors for material delivery.




- Check machine packing, dispatch materials and documentation.

5. Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare daily site, installation and service reports.
- Maintain maintenance records and customer feedback.
- Report project progress and technical issues to the manager.

Qualification & Skills

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of machine installation, assembly and maintenance.
- Positive troubleshooting and coordination skills.
- Basic computer and MS Excel knowledge.
