We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to support our accounting department. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting knowledge, good numerical skills, and proficiency in MS Excel. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records and assisting with daily accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records and accounting entries.
- Assist in preparing invoices, bills, receipts, and payment records.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliation and verify financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and monthly reports.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.
- Monitor expenses and identify discrepancies in accounting records.
- Assist senior accountants with daily accounting tasks.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally or similar tools is an advantage.
- Good numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
