Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Machine Setup & Maintenance: Prepare, prime, and sterilize hemodialysis machines and equipment according to strict medical protocols.
- Patient Care: Monitor patient vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, weight) before, during, and after the dialysis process.
- Vascular Access: Assist with or perform cannulation (connecting the patient to the machine via AV fistula or graft) and manage femoral/catheter care.
- Emergency Management: Act quickly and efficiently to manage dialysis-related complications or emergencies during the procedure.
- Documentation:
Maintain accurate patient logs, machine parameters, and treatment records.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Education: Diploma or B.Sc. in Dialysis Technology from a recognized institute.
- Experience: Generally, 1 to 4 years of experience is expected for this salary range. (Fresher candidates with excellent training may occasionally be considered at starting slabs).
- Skills: Robust technical knowledge of hemodialysis equipment, patient empathy, and ability to handle critical situations
