About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Senior Academic Counsellor to connect with prospective learners, understand their career aspirations, and guide them towards suitable educational programmes. The role involves lead qualification, learner engagement, and scheduling Video Counselling sessions with Admission Counsellors.

Key Responsibilities

- Contact prospective learners through the auto-dialer system and follow up on assigned leads.
- Understand learners’ interests, career goals, and eligibility for relevant programmes.
- Build rapport and establish trust through effective communication and active listening.
- Qualify leads and schedule Video Counselling sessions with Admission Counsellors.
- Coordinate appointments and follow-ups to support the enrolment process.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, lead interactions, and follow-up activities in the CRM system.
- Work towards daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets.

Eligibility Criteria

- Minimum 2 years of experience in EdTech sales; Study Abroad experience is an added advantage.
- At least 1 year of tenure with the same organisation.
- Minimum graduation required.
- Previous experience working a 6-day workweek.
- Currently working as an Individual Contributor.




- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Required Skills

- Excellent verbal communication skills and fluency in English.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and persuasion skills.
- Ability to understand learner needs and build skilled relationships.
- Patience, empathy, and a target-oriented approach.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Marathi proficiency is required for Pune and Mumbai locations.

Work Schedule

- Working Days: Monday to Saturday
- Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Employment Type: Full-time

Performance Expectations

- Minimum 300 minutes of call talk time per day.
- Schedule approximately 5 Video Counselling sessions per day.
- Connect with at least 80% of assigned leads daily.
- Consistently work towards weekly revenue targets.
