Role Overview

Provide strategic leadership and subject matter expertise in personal financial planning to guide the design, functionality, and architecture of financial planning software solutions. Serve as the key bridge between financial planning professionals and technology teams to ensure software reflects industry best practices, advisor workflows, and client needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the strategic direction of personal financial planning software design and functionality.
- Translate complex financial planning concepts into practical software requirements and user experiences.
- Advise on architecture, workflows, modeling tools, calculators, reporting, and planning methodologies.
- Ensure alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and financial planning best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend enhancements based on industry trends, advisor feedback, and competitive solutions.
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide expert guidance on retirement, tax, investment, estate, insurance, and cash flow planning modules.
- Act as a thought leader and industry representative,



bringing current market knowledge and skilled insights to the platform's evolution.

Qualifications

- Advanced degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- Recognized industry credentials such as CFP®, CFA®, CPA, CIM, CLU, or equivalent.
- Significant leadership experience within the wealth management or financial planning industry.
- Extensive knowledge of leading financial planning software platforms and advisor technology solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to influence product strategy, solution architecture, and business innovation.
