Job Description

Location: Chennai(Hybrid)

JD:

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Playwright.

- Build and enhance automation frameworks based on project requirements.

- Create and execute functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end test cases.





- Develop robust and reusable test automation components.

- Perform API testing using REST/SOAP services.

- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins.

- Analyze test execution results and provide detailed defect reports.

- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Monitor and improve test automation effectiveness and coverage.

Required Skills

Must-Have Skills

- Strong programming skills in Java.

- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.

- Experience in Playwright Automation.

- Positive understanding of TestNG/JUnit frameworks.

- Experience with Maven/Gradle build management tools.

- Strong knowledge of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

- Experience in API Testing using REST Assured, Postman, or SOAP UI.

- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.

- Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab version control systems.

- Familiarity with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.

- Understanding of Test Automation Framework design patterns.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.

- Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms.

- Experience with performance testing tools.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
