We are looking for SR.CONTRACT MANAGER FOR OUR ORGANIZATION . THE CONTRACTS MANAGER JD IS:-

Responsibilities

- Contract Administration & Management: Draft, review, administer, and execute work orders, item-rate, lump-sum, EPC, or design-build contracts (such as Hindustan Construction Company or FIDIC standards). [1, 2]
- Tendering & Procurement: Lead bid evaluations, contractor/subcontractor pre-qualification, and commercial negotiations. [1]
- Claims & Variation Management: Prepare, review, and track extension of time (EOT) requests, price escalation claims, change orders, and delay analyses. [1, 2]
- Cost & Risk Control: Monitor commercial risks, review Bill of Quantities (BOQs), conduct quantity take-offs, and drive value engineering. [1, 2]
- Dispute Resolution: Handle contractual conflicts via Dispute Adjudication Boards (DAB), amicable settlements, or arbitration proceedings. [1, 2]
- Project Close-Out: Oversee final account reconciliations, completion certificates, and Defect Liability Period (DLP) obligations.

Required Qualifications & Eligibility (India)

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) or Post-Graduation in Construction Management / Quantity Surveying. (A law degree is occasionally preferred for pure contract/legal tracks). [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
- Experience: Typically 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in contract management, commercial management, or quantity surveying in large building, highway, or infrastructure construction. [1, 2, 3]
- Technical Knowledge:
- Proficiency in standard construction contract frameworks (FIDIC, NEC, EPC).
- Strong grasp of Indian contract law, arbitration laws, and local building regulations.
