Dhera Singh Jewellers is a trusted jewellery business in Patiala. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented accountant to manage our day-to-day accounts and keep our financial records accurate and compliant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

◆ Maintain daily books of accounts, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries, in Tally.

◆ Record and reconcile gold, silver, and diamond/stone stock (weight-wise and value-wise) with physical stock.

◆ Manage old gold/silver exchange entries, scheme or advance bookings, and customer and supplier ledgers.

◆ Maintain karigar (artisan) and job-work accounts, including metal issued and received, wastage, and making charges.

◆ Prepare GST invoices and handle GST computation, return filing support (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), and reconciliation with books.

◆ Handle TDS/TCS calculations and cash transaction compliance, and coordinate with the CA for returns and audits.

◆ Perform bank reconciliation and daily cash book and cash-in-hand checks.

◆ Prepare monthly MIS reports, outstanding receivable/payable statements, and profit and loss summaries for management.

◆ Keep records ready for statutory audits, tax assessments, and inspections.





◆ Coordinate with the CA/auditor and provide data and documents on time.

REQUIREMENTS

◆ Education: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent (CA Inter or commerce graduate preferred).

◆ Experience: 2–5 years in accounting; prior experience in a jewellery or retail business is a solid advantage.

◆ Skills:

– Proficiency in Tally (Prime/ERP 9) and MS Excel

Working knowledge of jewellery ERP software is preferred.

– Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation

– Understanding of jewellery accounting (metal weight, purity, making charges) preferred

– Good accuracy, honesty, and attention to detail

– Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information

– Basic communication skills in Punjabi, Hindi, and English

WHAT WE OFFER

◆ Salary: Starting from ₹15,000 per month, negotiable based on experience and skills.

◆ Stable, growth-oriented work environment.

WORK SCHEDULE

◆ Working hours: 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM

◆ Weekly off: One day off on a weekday (Monday to Friday)

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
