About ExpressAid

ExpressAid is a technology-enabled healthcare platform providing convenient healthcare services at patients' homes.

We are building an affordable Doctor-at-Home healthcare service where patients can book a qualified doctor through the ExpressAid app and receive medical consultation and assessment at their home.

We are looking for MBBS General Physicians who are interested in providing in-person home consultations to patients in and around Bellandur.

About the Role

As an ExpressAid Home-Visit General Physician, you will visit patients at their homes, understand their health concerns, conduct an appropriate clinical examination, provide medical assessment and treatment advice, prescribe medication when clinically appropriate, and recommend investigations or referrals when required.

This is a doctor-only home-visit role.

There is no requirement to conduct video consultations or coordinate with nurses as part of this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Travel to patients' homes within the assigned ExpressAid service area.
- Take a detailed medical history.
- Understand and assess the patient's symptoms.
- Conduct an appropriate physical examination.
- Check and assess relevant vital signs.
- Diagnose and manage common primary-care conditions within your clinical competence.
- Prescribe medications when clinically appropriate and legally permitted.
- Recommend appropriate laboratory investigations when required.
- Review existing laboratory reports and medical records.
- Provide treatment and follow-up recommendations.
- Perform appropriate minor clinical assessments/procedures within your competence and applicable regulations.
- Identify patients who require specialist consultation or hospital care.
- Provide appropriate referral and escalation when required.




- Maintain accurate patient consultation and prescription records through the ExpressAid platform.
- Maintain professional communication and patient confidentiality.
- Follow applicable medical, ethical and professional requirements.

The doctor will assess patients within their professional competence and determine when additional investigations, specialist care or hospital referral is appropriate.

Working Hours

8-hour full-time shift

Morning Shift

6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Evening Shift

2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

One weekly day off.

The final shift and weekly schedule will be discussed during the interview.

Compensation

₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month

Salary will depend on qualification, experience and suitability for the role.

Additional incentives may be available based on the agreed ExpressAid compensation structure and completed home visits.

EligibilityMandatory

- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid/current medical registration.
- Willingness to conduct home visits in Bellandur and nearby service areas.
- Good communication and patient-interaction skills.
- Professional attitude toward home-based healthcare.




- Comfortable using a smartphone and the ExpressAid application.
- Ability to travel between patient locations during working hours.

Freshers Welcome

Fresh MBBS graduates are welcome to apply, provided they have completed their MBBS qualification and hold valid medical registration.

Previous home-visit experience is not mandatory.

Candidates with General Practice, General Medicine, OPD or primary-care experience will also be considered.

This is a home-visit doctor position, not a hospital-based duty doctor position.

Doctors will be required to travel to patients' homes within the assigned ExpressAid service area.

The role does not involve video consultations or nurse coordination.

Candidates must provide their MBBS qualification and valid medical registration documents during the verification process.

Emergency cases requiring immediate hospital-level care will be appropriately escalated rather than managed as routine ExpressAid home visits.
