Job Summary

Cloudberry is seeking a qualified and patient-focused Orthodontist to join our growing network of dental clinics and hospital-based dental departments. The selected candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and managing orthodontic cases, developing appropriate treatment plans, and delivering high-quality orthodontic care to patients.

The ideal candidate should have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient satisfaction, treatment outcomes, and professional ethics.

Key Responsibilities

- Examine patients and diagnose dental malocclusions and dentofacial irregularities.
- Develop individualised orthodontic treatment plans based on clinical examination and appropriate diagnostic records.
- Perform orthodontic treatments using fixed appliances, removable appliances, and clear aligner systems, according to qualifications and competency.
- Review and interpret dental radiographs, photographs, study models, and other relevant diagnostic records.
- Monitor treatment progress and conduct scheduled orthodontic review appointments.
- Explain treatment options, duration, costs, expected outcomes, and potential risks to patients.
- Maintain complete and accurate patient records, treatment plans, consent documentation, and progress notes in the clinic's EMR.
- Coordinate with general dentists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, and other specialists when interdisciplinary treatment is required.
- Ensure appropriate infection control, patient safety, and clinical documentation practices.




- Support patient retention, follow-up appointments, and continuity of orthodontic care.
- Maintain professional standards and contribute to the quality improvement initiatives of the dental department.

Qualifications

- MDS in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics from a recognised institution.
- Valid registration with the relevant State Dental Council / Dental Council of India, as applicable.
- Experience in orthodontic diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical case management.
- Knowledge of fixed orthodontic appliances, removable appliances, and contemporary orthodontic treatment techniques.
- Good communication and patient counselling skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate clinical records and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary dental team.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with clear aligner treatment and digital orthodontic workflows.
- Proficiency in orthodontic treatment planning and progress evaluation.
- Strong patient relationship and communication skills.
- Commitment to ethical clinical practice and evidence-based treatment.
- Willingness to work across assigned C-Kare managed clinics or hospital departments, as required.
