Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Equipment Planning & Mobilization

- Deployment Planning: Assess project requirements and coordinate the mobilization and demobilization of heavy machinery (e.g., excavators, tower cranes, transit mixers, DG sets, rock crushers).
- Selection & Sourcing: Help evaluate and select machinery based on site soil conditions, project scale, and production targets.
- Vendor & Hire Management: Negotiate and manage third-party equipment rentals, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), and spare parts suppliers.

2. Maintenance & Breakdown Management

- Preventive Maintenance: Design and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance schedules to minimise equipment downtime.
- Field Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults in heavy machinery and direct field repair teams.
- History Logs: Maintain comprehensive logbooks for each machine, tracking fuel consumption, breakdown hours, and repair histories.

3. Cost & Inventory Control

- Spare Parts Inventory:



Manage stock levels for critical spares, lubricants, tyres, and consumables to prevent project delays.
- MIS & Budgeting: Track operating expenses (OPEX) vs. capital expenditures (CAPEX) for the P&M; department, reporting metrics via enterprise tools like SAP.
- Fuel & Log Monitoring: Audit daily log sheets for fuel efficiency and idle time reduction.

4. Safety & Compliance

- Statutory Compliance: Ensure all cranes, lifting tools, pressure vessels, and heavy vehicles possess valid fitness certificates, third-party load test reports, and PUC documents as per local laws.
- Site Safety Audits: Enforce safety protocols for equipment operators, riggers, and maintenance crew, ensuring operators are certified and trained.

Pay: ₹329,000.00 - ₹640,000.00 per year
