We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial reconciliations. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and hands-on experience in managing financial records and ensuring compliance with applicable statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Accounting & Financial Operations
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle general ledger, journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Ensure timely recording and reconciliation of all financial transactions.
- Monitor expenses, income, and cash flow.
- Financial Reporting & MIS
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate financial MIS reports, budgets, and variance analysis.
- Assist in monthly and annual financial closing activities.
- Provide accurate financial information to management for decision-making.
- Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Handle GST returns, TDS calculations, and related filings.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors and consultants for tax assessments and statutory audits.
- Banking & Reconciliation
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
- Monitor banking transactions, fund transfers, and payment settlements.
- Ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.




- Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Maintain proper books of accounts, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and internal financial controls.
- Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Team Coordination
- Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.
- Coordinate with internal departments for financial documentation and reporting.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of assigned accounting activities.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Robust knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.
- Practical experience in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software/ERP.
- Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication, coordination, and team management skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in NBFC, Banking, Financial Services, Academic, or Corporate Finance.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, audit coordination, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience handling multi-branch accounting operations will be an added advantage.
