Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL & SSIS Developer with solid expertise in database development, ETL processes, and data migration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for converting Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) SQL, mappings, and procedures into native Oracle PL/SQL packages and procedures, developing and maintaining SSIS packages, optimizing database jobs, and supporting end-to-end testing and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, and functions.
- Convert ODI SQL, mappings, and procedures into native Oracle PL/SQL packages and procedures.
- Develop and maintain SSIS packages, including Control Flow, Data Flow, loops, variables, connections, and configurations.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize PL/SQL code and database jobs to improve performance.
- Support ETL development, data transformation, data migration, and data validation activities.
- Perform unit testing and support System Integration Testing (SIT).
- Identify and resolve defects in converted code and ensure the accuracy of migrated data.
- Prepare test summary reports, technical specifications, ETL documentation, and process flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with development, testing, and other technical teams to ensure quality deliverables.

Required Skills and Experience

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL, SSIS, and ODI.




- Strong expertise in developing and maintaining Oracle database packages, stored procedures, and functions.
- Proven experience converting ODI SQL, mappings, and procedures into Oracle PL/SQL packages and procedures.
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining SSIS packages.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes, data transformation, and data migration.
- Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and resolving database-related issues.
- Knowledge of unit testing, SIT, data validation, and defect management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Practical experience in ODI job conversion and migration.
- Exposure to ETL modernization and legacy code migration.
- Experience with Oracle database performance tuning and optimization.

Ideal Candidate
