About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced, proactive Music Artist Manager to help grow AFTAB’s music career by securing paid gigs, live performances, cyphers, brand promotions, and industry collaborations.

The primary responsibility is to identify opportunities, build industry connections, pitch the artist, negotiate deals, and convert leads into confirmed paid bookings.

Key Responsibilities

- Paid Gigs & Live Shows: Secure performance opportunities at college festivals, clubs, concerts, private events, and music festivals.
- Cyphers & Hip-Hop Events: Find paid rap cyphers, underground events, showcases, rap battles, and hip-hop lineups.
- Brand Promotions: Secure paid brand deals, sponsored content, promotional campaigns, and partnerships.
- Artist Collaborations: Explore paid features, collaborations, and promotional opportunities with artists, producers, labels, and music platforms.
- Industry Networking: Build and maintain relationships with event organisers, promoters, talent agencies, venue owners, DJs, and industry professionals.
- Outreach & Negotiations: Pitch AFTAB to potential clients, negotiate performance fees, and follow up to close deals.
- Booking Management: Coordinate schedules, booking terms, performance requirements, and payment follow-ups.
- Chance Research: Consistently identify relevant events, festivals,



and platforms where AFTAB can perform and earn.

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in music artist management, talent management, event bookings, music promotions, or the entertainment industry.
- Understanding of the Indian hip-hop and independent music scene.
- Proven ability to source gigs, build industry relationships, and generate paid opportunities.
- Robust communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with Instagram, LinkedIn, email, and professional outreach.
- Self-driven, organised, and focused on converting leads into confirmed bookings.
- Existing connections with event organisers, promoters, brands, or music industry professionals are highly preferred.

Compensation

- Fixed monthly compensation of ₹10,000.
- Performance expectations and targets will be discussed during the selection process.

Ideal Candidate

Someone with at least two years of relevant industry experience who can independently identify opportunities, approach decision-makers, and help AFTAB grow through paid performances, promotions, and strategic collaborations.

This is a hands-on management role, not just a social media position. The primary focus is generating real opportunities and securing paid bookings for the artist.
