Role Summary

The HR Recruiter will manage the end-to-end hiring process for our hotel and retreat operations. You will partner with department heads to understand their staffing needs, source suitable candidates, and ensure a smooth, positive hiring experience from first contact through onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer, and joining formalities
- Work with department heads (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B; Service, Kitchen, Spa and Wellness, Maintenance, Sales) to understand manpower requirements and prepare accurate job descriptions
- Source candidates through job portals, social media, LinkedIn, hospitality institutes, walk-ins, employee referrals, and placement agencies
- Screen resumes, conduct initial telephonic or in-person interviews, and shortlist candidates against role requirements
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers
- Handle bulk and seasonal hiring during peak periods
- Conduct reference and background checks and verify documents
- Prepare offer letters,



negotiate compensation within approved budgets, and follow up until candidates join
- Coordinate onboarding and induction for new joiners
- Build relationships with hotel management colleges and hospitality training institutes for campus and internship hiring
- Maintain the candidate database, recruitment trackers, and MIS reports (open positions, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, offer-to-join ratio)
- Represent Sambodhi Retreat positively to candidates and promote the employer brand

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in HR or a hospitality qualification preferred)
- 1-2 years of recruitment experience in the hotel or hospitality industry
- Working knowledge of hotel departments, job roles, and hierarchy
- Experience with job portals (Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.) and Boolean search techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Hindi (Bengali or other local languages are an advantage)
- Good negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple openings and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and comfort with applicant tracking tools
- Professional, approachable, and guest-oriented personality

Preferred Attributes

- Experience with both volume hiring and specialist or leadership hiring
- Existing network of hospitality professionals
- Basic understanding of labour laws and statutory compliance relevant to hiring

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
