Linux Trainer

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Linux Trainer to deliver practical, industry-focused training in Linux system administration.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Linux operating systems, system administration, networking, security, troubleshooting, shell scripting, and automation, along with excellent communication and mentoring skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct instructor-led training sessions on Linux system administration.
- Provide hands-on training using real-world Linux administration scenarios.
- Teach installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Linux systems.
- Explain Linux users, groups, permissions, processes, services, and file systems.
- Train participants on Linux networking, SSH, DNS, storage, LVM, and system services.
- Teach package management and software installation using appropriate Linux package managers.
- Provide practical training on systemd, cron jobs, log management, and system monitoring.
- Explain Linux security concepts, including permissions, firewall configuration, and access control.
- Provide training on Bash/Shell scripting for system administration and automation.
- Conduct hands-on labs, assignments, assessments, and real-world projects.
- Help participants troubleshoot Linux system and application issues.
- Mentor learners and support them in developing practical Linux administration skills.
- Keep training content updated with current Linux technologies and industry practices.

Required Skills

- Robust hands-on experience with Linux administration.




- Good knowledge of Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS/Rocky Linux, or similar.
- Strong understanding of:
- Linux commands and file systems
- Users, groups, and permissions
- Process and service management
- Package management
- Networking and troubleshooting
- SSH
- Storage and LVM
- systemd
- Cron and scheduled jobs
- Log management
- Linux security and firewalls
- Good knowledge of Bash/Shell scripting.
- Basic understanding of virtualization and cloud environments is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to beginners and experienced professionals.

Preferred Qualifications

- 2+ years of professional experience in Linux system administration.
- Previous experience as a Linux Trainer, Technical Trainer, System Administrator, or Mentor.
- Linux certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, LPIC, or CompTIA Linux+ are an advantage.
- Experience working in enterprise Linux environments.
- Experience delivering practical, lab-based training.
- Knowledge of Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, or DevOps is a plus.
