Position: Full-Time Swimming Coach

Department: Sports and Physical Education

Experience: 2-3 years of relevant coaching experience preferred

Qualification: Recognised swimming coaching certification; international certifications preferred

Key Responsibilities

- Develop a structured swimming programme aligned with recognised international coaching practices.
- Train learners across age groups and skill levels, from beginners to competitive swimmers.
- Coach all four strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly.
- Focus on water confidence, technique, endurance, speed and fitness.
- Identify talented swimmers and prepare them for inter-school, district and state-level competitions.
- Ensure water safety, emergency preparedness and child safeguarding at all times.
- Maintain learner attendance, performance records and individual progress reports.
- Promote discipline, confidence, resilience, teamwork and sportsmanship.




- Coordinate with school leadership, parents and the sports department.
- Support the development and long-term growth of IYRA's swimming programme.

Essential Requirements

- Current recognised lifesaving, water-rescue and CPR/first-aid certifications, as appropriate.
- Robust technical knowledge of swimming and competitive training.
- Experience working with children and managing different ability levels.
- Commitment to professional development and internationally benchmarked coaching standards.
- Willingness to work full-time on campus, including scheduled training sessions and school sporting events.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
