Location: Kalyanam Karoti Netra Sansthan, Govardhan Road, Mathura (U.P.)

1. Job Purpose

To provide quality nursing care to patients, ensure patient safety, assist doctors during examinations and procedures, and maintain proper nursing standards in the eye hospital.

2. Key Roles and Responsibilities

- Provide nursing care to patients in OPD, wards, operation theatre and other assigned departments.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature and oxygen saturation.
- Administer medicines, injections, eye drops and other prescribed treatments as per doctors’ instructions.
- Assist ophthalmologists and other doctors during patient examinations, procedures and surgeries.
- Prepare patients for surgery and provide pre-operative and post-operative care.
- Maintain patient records, nursing notes, medication charts and treatment documentation.
- Follow infection control protocols, hand hygiene, sterilization and biomedical waste management procedures.
- Ensure the availability and proper handling of nursing equipment and medical supplies.
- Educate patients and their attendants regarding medication, eye care and post-operative instructions.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and inform the concerned doctor.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, discipline and professional conduct.
- Perform shift duties and other nursing responsibilities assigned by the reporting authority.

3. Educational Qualification

- GNM or B.Sc.



Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the respective State Nursing Council.
- Knowledge of basic nursing procedures, patient care and infection control.

4. Experience

- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
- Experience in an eye hospital, ophthalmology department, operation theatre or ICU will be preferred, depending on the assigned position.

- Ability to work in a team and handle emergencies.
- Knowledge of nursing documentation and medical equipment.
- Punctuality, discipline and willingness to work in rotational shifts.

6. Employment Details

- Employment Type: Full-time
- Working Hours: As per hospital duty roster.
- Salary: As per qualification, experience and institutional norms.
- Probation: As per institutional policy.

Note: The nursing staff must perform all clinical duties within their qualifications, professional registration and authorized scope of practice, following hospital protocols and doctors’ instructions.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
