JOB DESCRIPTION: SENIOR SALES OFFICER – TELANGANA (HYDERABAD)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced and result-oriented Senior Sales Officer with a strong background in FMCG sales, distributor management, and market expansion. The candidate should have a proven track record of achieving sales targets, developing distribution networks, and handling market operations independently. Candidates with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a sales team will be preferred, with an opportunity to grow into an Area Sales Manager (ASM) role based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve primary and secondary sales targets across the assigned territory.
- Develop and manage distributors, wholesalers, dealers, and retail networks.
- Expand market coverage and improve product availability and visibility.
- Monitor beat plans, outlet coverage, productive calls, and daily sales performance through the FieldAssist app.
- Conduct regular market visits and monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotional schemes.
- Build strong relationships with distributors and key retailers.




- Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and maintain healthy distributor stock levels.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Coordinate with office sales, Accounts, and supply chain teams.
- Guide and support junior sales team members and demonstrate leadership capabilities.

Required Skills

- 8–9 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in the tobacco industry.
- Strong knowledge of distributor management and territory development.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
- Experience in handling sales teams or supervising field sales operations.
- Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and FieldAssist or similar sales tracking applications.
- Willingness to travel across Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana.

Qualification

Graduate in any discipline preferred.

Preferred Industry

FMCG, preferably Tobacco.

Salary

CTC: As per company standards and candidate experience.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
