Job Summary
We are looking for a enthusiastic Junior Architect with up to 2 years of qualified architectural practice experience. This position is designed for an early-career professional who has completed initial internship training, has basic site/firm experience, and is ready to take on greater responsibility in producing working drawings, 3D visualizations, and consultant coordination under senior mentorship.
Note: Freshers without previous post-graduation firm experience will not be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting & Working Drawings: Produce accurate 2D architectural drawings (floor plans, sections, elevations, site plans, and construction details) using AutoCAD/Revit.
- 3D Modeling & Visualization: Create clear 3D digital models and realistic renderings for client presentations and internal design reviews.
- Design & Site Coordination: Assist in coordinating designs with structural, MEP, and interior consultants, as well as participating in periodic site visits and progress checks.
- Material Research: Assist senior team members with selecting materials, finishes,
and compiling specification schedules.
- Approval Documentation: Support the team in preparing drawings required for local municipal body and statutory authority submissions.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent.
- Experience: Up to 2 years of professional work experience in an architectural studio. (Freshers without prior full-time studio experience are excluded).
- Technical Skills:
- 2D Drafting: Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- 3D & BIM: Working knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, and rendering software (Enscape, V-Ray, or Lumion).
- Graphics: Basic familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) for visual boards.
- General Skills: Basic understanding of construction methods, local building standards, strong communication, and attention to detail.
