Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented QA Manager to lead the Quality Assurance function at our Chakan MIDC plant. The candidate will own the QA system, drive a strong quality culture across the company, lead problem solving and warranty analysis, and report directly to the COO.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Handle all QA-related responsibilities across incoming, in-process and final inspection.
- Develop, implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) – ISO 9001 or equivalent.
- Drive the quality system and quality culture across all departments of the company.
- Lead root cause analysis and problem solving using 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA and other QC tools.
- Conduct warranty and field failure analysis; identify trends and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Reduce customer complaints, rejections, rework and cost of poor quality (COPQ).
- Manage customer complaints and customer quality communication, including responses and closure of actions.
- Monitor supplier quality; conduct supplier audits and drive vendor quality improvement.




- Plan and conduct internal audits, process audits and product audits; support customer and external audits.
- Prepare and maintain quality documents: control plans, inspection standards, SOPs, work instructions and PPAP/FAI where applicable.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments, gauges and testing equipment.
- Apply SPC, MSA and other statistical techniques for process control and improvement.
- Prepare quality MIS, KPIs and review reports for the COO and management.
- Lead, train and develop the QA/QC team and shop-floor quality awareness.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Purchase and Service teams for continuous improvement.
