About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Interior & Furniture Designer to lead the design of customized furniture and interior projects, from concept to production-ready drawings. You will work closely with clients, our production team and installation teams, and guide junior designers to deliver practical, well-detailed designs on time.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of customized furniture and interior solutions.
- Understand client requirements and convert them into practical, aesthetically appealing designs.
- Prepare 2D layouts, furniture plans, elevations, sections and detailed working drawings.
- Create furniture concepts and 3D visuals using AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max or similar software.
- Visit sites, take measurements and develop designs according to actual site conditions.
- Select suitable materials, finishes, laminates, veneers, fabrics, hardware and accessories.
- Ensure designs are technically feasible and ready for manufacturing.
- Review production drawings and provide design clarification to the factory team.
- Make design changes based on client feedback and site requirements.
- Monitor execution and ensure the final product matches the approved design.
- Prepare material specifications and support BOQ preparation.
- Coordinate with clients, sales, production, carpentry, upholstery and installation teams.




- Manage multiple projects and complete design deliverables on time.
- Guide and review the work of junior designers.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, approvals and project specifications.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of furniture design and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp. Proficiency in 3ds Max, V-Ray or Lumion is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of wood, plywood, MDF, veneer, laminates, solid wood, hardware, upholstery and furniture fittings.
- Good knowledge of furniture dimensions, ergonomics, space planning and detailing.
- Robust design visualization and presentation skills.
- Ability to prepare production-ready furniture drawings.
- Good client-handling and communication skills.
- Strong coordination and project management abilities.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior designers.

Qualification

Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Architecture or a related field.

Preferred Experience

Customized furniture, modular furniture, residential or commercial interiors, furniture manufacturing, turnkey projects or luxury furniture.
