Satyam Dewatering Systems is looking for a skilled and dedicated MIG/MAG Welder to join our production and fabrication team. The candidate will be responsible for welding mild steel (MS) components, fabrication structures, equipment frames, and industrial machinery parts while maintaining high standards of welding quality and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform MIG/MAG welding on mild steel (MS) plates, pipes, sections, frames, and structural components.
- Carry out welding and fabrication work for industrial equipment, pump systems, and mechanical assemblies.
- Read and understand fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and basic technical specifications.
- Select suitable welding wire, shielding gas, current, voltage, and other parameters according to the job requirements.
- Prepare metal surfaces, clean joints, and perform tack welding before final welding.
- Inspect completed welds for defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut, and incomplete fusion.
- Operate and maintain welding machines, tools, and related equipment safely.
- Follow production schedules, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.
- Coordinate with fitters, supervisors, and other production team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized working area.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Practical experience in MIG/MAG welding.




- Knowledge of mild steel welding and industrial fabrication.
- Ability to handle welding machines, grinders, and fabrication tools.
- Understanding of welding quality, joint preparation, and basic drawing interpretation.
- Knowledge of welding safety practices and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- ITI or vocational training in welding is preferred but not mandatory if the candidate has suitable practical experience.

Experience

Relevant MIG/MAG welding experience in industrial fabrication is preferred. Candidates with strong practical welding skills are encouraged to apply.
