Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management / Hotel Operations or related field (preferred)

Age: 40+

Experience:Minimum 10 years in hospitality / hotel operations, preferably in banqueting-heavy properties

Salary: ₹45,000 per month and Nego.

JOB SUMMARY

Urban King Hotel is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations across hospitality and banqueting functions. The role involves coordinating multiple departments, managing a workforce of 70–80 employees, maintaining service standards, controlling costs, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Oversee end-to-end daily operations across hospitality and banqueting functions.
- Ensure smooth coordination between F&B;, Kitchen, Banquets, Service, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Support Teams.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain operational consistency and efficiency.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Lead, manage, and motivate a workforce of 90–100 employees across multiple departments.
- Manage manpower planning, duty rosters, productivity, recruitment coordination, training, and performance evaluation.
- Promote accountability, discipline, teamwork, and staff development.
- Ensure excellent guest experience across restaurants, banquets, and events; resolve complaints and operational issues promptly.
- Maintain professional grooming,



service etiquette, and high service-quality standards.
- Assist with operational budgets and monitor manpower, utilities, wastage, and other operating costs.
- Implement cost-control measures and support revenue optimization through efficient operations and capacity utilization.
- Oversee planning and execution of banquets, conferences, weddings, and large events.
- Coordinate with Sales, Kitchen, Service, and Logistics teams to ensure successful event delivery and post-event closure.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers; monitor procurement, inventory, stock levels, and wastage.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, licenses, safety norms, hygiene, sanitation, and food-safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain operational compliance.

KEY SKILLS

- Minimum 10 years of experience in hospitality / hotel operations, preferably in banqueting-heavy properties.
- Proven experience managing large teams of approximately 90–100 employees.
- Solid operational planning, execution, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team-management abilities.
- Good understanding of hospitality operations, cost control, and service standards.
- Ability to manage multiple departments and perform effectively under pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Operations, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Pay: ₹42,000.00 - ₹48,000.00 per month
