Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers will manage and support a growing community of volunteers who contribute to Invisible Mechanics’ educational mission. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Amritsar/Ludhiana Area. Day-to-day responsibilities include recruiting and onboarding new volunteers, organizing orientation and training sessions, and ensuring volunteers clearly understand their roles and responsibilities. The coordinator will schedule and track volunteer activities, provide ongoing guidance and feedback, and foster an inclusive, motivating environment. The role also involves building relationships with local institutions and communities, coordinating outreach events, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with the core team to align volunteer initiatives with program needs. The coordinator will regularly evaluate volunteer engagement and implement improvements to enhance effectiveness and satisfaction. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess robust Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training skills to effectively organize, support, and develop the volunteer team.




• Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills to interact with volunteers, learners, and community partners in a respectful and clear manner.
• Candidates should possess Community Outreach experience to build partnerships, promote programs, and engage local organizations and audiences.
• Ability to plan and coordinate events or programs, with solid organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfort working in an educational or nonprofit setting; experience with youth or learning communities is an advantage.
• Proficiency with basic digital tools (spreadsheets, communication platforms, and scheduling tools).
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices and a collaborative team culture.
• Relevant education in social sciences, education, management, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience in volunteer coordination or community work.
