Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Pune City. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, preparing and maintaining ledgers, processing invoices, and reconciling bank and cash accounts. The role involves monitoring café and roasting unit expenses, supporting inventory and cost tracking, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting for the business. The Accountant will prepare financial reports for management, ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements, and coordinate with external auditors or consultants as needed. This role also supports the implementation of finance-related processes and systems to improve accuracy and efficiency as the startup scales. Qualifications
• Robust accounting and bookkeeping skills, including ledger management, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of taxation and regulatory compliance relevant to small businesses in India, including GST and other applicable statutory requirements.
• Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., Tally,



Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Excel or similar tools).
• Ability to manage budgeting, cost control, and cash flow tracking in a retail or F&B; environment.
• Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to maintain accurate, organized records.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with café operations, suppliers, and management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) are an advantage.
• Experience in hospitality, retail, or food and beverage businesses is preferred but not mandatory.
• Comfort working in a growing startup environment, with a proactive approach to improving processes and controls. Mandatory
