Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a full time, on-site role based in Nashik, responsible for organizing and managing volunteer activities that support HackIT events, workshops, and initiatives. This role involves recruiting and onboarding volunteers, scheduling and assigning tasks, and ensuring volunteers are well-prepared for technical and non-technical activities. The coordinator will oversee volunteer communication, provide guidance and feedback, and foster a positive, inclusive environment for all participants. Daily tasks include coordinating with club leadership and faculty advisors, maintaining volunteer records, supporting event logistics, and promoting volunteer opportunities across the student community. The role also involves contributing to community outreach efforts and helping strengthen engagement with learners interested in cybersecurity and ethical hacking. Qualifications
• Ability to manage volunteer programs, including Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training,



ensuring volunteers are supported and effective.
• Strong interpersonal skills and Communication skills to interact with volunteers, club members, faculty, and external partners.
• Experience or interest in Community Outreach to promote HackIT activities and engage the wider student community.
• Organizational and time-management skills to coordinate multiple events, schedules, and responsibilities.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with diverse teams in a student-led, faculty-guided environment.
• Comfort with basic technology tools (spreadsheets, communication platforms, simple project management tools); familiarity with technical clubs or STEM environments is an advantage.
• Prior experience in student organizations, event coordination, or volunteer leadership is preferred but not required.
