Role Description The 4G/5G RAN and Core Network OAM Lead Engineer will oversee the operation, administration, and maintenance of radio access and core network elements, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability. This full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru includes designing and implementing OAM strategies, configuring and monitoring network elements, and coordinating fault management, performance management, and configuration management activities. The engineer will review logs and alarms, perform root cause analysis,



and optimize parameters for 4G/5G RAN and core nodes to meet service-level objectives. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting integration and upgrade projects, documenting procedures and standards, and providing technical guidance to peers. The role also involves working closely with vendors and customers to resolve complex issues and support continuous improvement of network operations. Qualifications
• Strong 4G/5G RAN expertise, including experience with LTE and NR radio technologies, RAN architecture, KPIs, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with core network domains such as EPC/5G Core (AMF, SMF, UPF, MME, SGW, PGW), signaling protocols, and related interfaces.
• Proficiency in OAM functions, including configuration management, fault management, performance management, and network monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of telecom standards and protocols (3GPP, IP networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SIP, Diameter) and familiarity with OSS/BSS environments.
• Ability to use scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Shell, Ansible) for task automation, log analysis, and configuration handling.
• Experience with integration, testing, and upgrade activities for RAN and core network elements, including multi-vendor environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
