India (Remote initially) Compensation: Equity-based founding opportunity Company Stage: Early-stage startup | Idea exploration and prototyping About the OpportunityI'm looking for a passionate and technically strong Robotics Engineer to join me as a Technical Co-Founder to build a robotics startup in India. We are at the early exploration stage, which means we have the opportunity to identify real-world problems and develop innovative robotic solutions using robotics, automation, and artificial intelligence. Rather than limiting ourselves to a predefined product, I want to collaborate with someone who is excited about identifying meaningful problems, experimenting with ideas, building prototypes, and turning them into scalable products. What You'll Work On
• Design, build, and test robotic prototypes.
• Work with sensors, actuators, motors, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
• Explore autonomous navigation, computer vision, control systems, and robot intelligence.
• Evaluate technologies such as ROS/ROS 2, Python, C++, and AI/ML.
• Collaborate on product strategy, technical architecture, and startup development.
• Help build the technical foundation and engineering team from the ground up. Who I'm Looking For
• Strong hands-on experience or project experience in robotics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with robotics frameworks such as ROS/ROS 2 is a plus.
• Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, sensors, motor control, or robotic platforms.




• Knowledge of computer vision, autonomous systems, or AI/ML is an advantage.
• A builder's mindset: someone who enjoys experimenting, solving difficult problems, and creating working prototypes. Strong practical skills and demonstrated projects matter more than formal qualifications. What I BringI'm a software engineer with 5 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, backend systems, microservices, and cloud infrastructure. I'm also pursuing an MS in AI & Cyber Security at IIT Patna and developing my expertise in AI/ML. I can contribute to software engineering, AI integration, backend architecture, and product development. I'm looking for a complementary co-founder who can help lead robotics engineering and hardware development.
