About the Role
2ndRank is looking for experienced and enthusiastic English instructors to conduct live 1:1 online classes for students aged 5–16. The ideal candidate should have strong English language skills, sound grammatical knowledge, and the ability to help students improve their reading, writing, comprehension, vocabulary, and communication skills according to their individual learning needs. You will create an interactive and supportive learning environment, explain language concepts clearly, and encourage students to develop confidence in using English. This is a part-time teaching opportunity for instructors comfortable teaching international students during the US shift. Responsibility:
• Conduct live 1:1 English classes for students aged 5–16.
• Teach age-appropriate English language and literacy concepts according to the student's level and curriculum.
• Help students improve grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and sentence construction.
• Develop students' language fluency, comprehension, and communication skills.
• Explain grammatical rules and language concepts in a simple, structured, and engaging manner.




• Encourage active participation, critical thinking, and confidence in using English.
• Adapt teaching methods according to individual student needs and learning progress.
• Conduct demo classes for prospective students when assigned.
• Maintain regular class schedules and ensure timely attendance.
• Track student progress and provide relevant feedback.
• Use the 2ndRank Mentor Portal to manage classes, schedules, and assigned work.
• Communicate professionally with the internal team regarding student progress and class requirements.

Requirements:
• At least 2 years of English teaching or tutoring experience.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Sound knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing.
• Ability to explain language rules and concepts in your own words.
• Experience teaching children or school-age students is preferred.
• Comfortable conducting live online 1:1 classes.
• Excellent verbal communication and an engaging teaching style.
• Comfortable teaching students from international markets.
• Must be available during the US shift (12:00 AM–6:30 AM IST).
• Able to commit up to 4 hours/day and approximately 4 sessions/day.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable setup for online teaching.
• Passion for language education and the ability to engage young learners. Compensation Monthly Earning Potential:



₹28,800–₹40,000 The earning potential is based on the expected teaching workload of approximately 4 sessions per day, 7 days per week, along with additional opportunities through demo classes and successful student conversions. Your monthly earnings can vary depending on student availability, classes assigned, sessions conducted, and performance-based incentives.
• Regular Classes: ₹300/session for 55–60 minute regular sessions.
• Demo Classes: ₹150 per demo class for a 45–50 minute demo
• Demo Conversion Incentive: ₹200 additional incentive when a demo student converts into a full student.
• Student No-Show: ₹50 will be paid if a student does not attend the scheduled class, provided the instructor waits for at least 15 minutes. Selection Process Round 1 — Screening Initial screening to check experience, subject expertise, USA-shift availability, compensation expectations, and overall suitability. Round 2 — Founder's Interview The founder will assess the candidate's coding knowledge and their ability to understand and explain concepts in their own words. Round 3 — Demo Class The selected candidate will conduct a live demo class with a student. Immediate Hiring: Candidates who successfully perform in the demo and are liked by the student may be hired immediately. What You'll Get:
