Are you experienced in freight forwarding and passionate about winning new customers and growing business

Southern Freight & Shipping Services (SFS) is looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join our growing team.

Location: Chennai / Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu

Experience: 3–5 years

Industry: Freight Forwarding & Logistics

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

3–5 years of relevant freight forwarding experience

Robust understanding of import, export, sea freight and air freight

An existing customer network and the ability to generate new business

Proven skills in sales, negotiation and customer relationship management

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and acquire new customers and business opportunities.
- Build relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers and traders.
- Generate leads, conduct customer meetings and convert prospects into active accounts.




- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and follow up on enquiries.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to profitable business growth.
