Role Description This full-time Desktop Support Engineer role is an in office position based in Ahmedabad. The Desktop Support Engineer will provide day-to-day technical support for desktop computers, laptops, and related hardware, including installation, configuration, and upgrades. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, supporting printers and peripheral devices, and handling troubleshooting requests raised by internal users. The role involves monitoring system performance, maintaining asset inventories, and ensuring that workstations and equipment remain secure and up to date.



The Desktop Support Engineer will work closely with IT and operations teams to minimize downtime and deliver a smooth technology experience for all staff members.
Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of desktop computers and computer hardware, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience in technical support and troubleshooting for end users in a business environment.
- Practical understanding of printer support and peripheral connectivity, including setup and issue resolution.
- Familiarity with operating systems (such as Windows), basic networking concepts, and security best practices.
- Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear, simple terms.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple support requests, and document issues and resolutions accurately.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in an on-site desktop support or IT helpdesk role will be an advantage.
