Role Description The Academic Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based at the Noida campus. The individual in this role will guide prospective and current students in selecting suitable beauty and wellness programs, provide information on course structures, and explain career prospects across makeup, cosmetology, aesthetics, hair styling, and related fields. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, handling walk-in and online inquiries, supporting admission processes, and maintaining accurate student records. The Academic Counsellor will collaborate with faculty and administrative teams to monitor student progress, address academic or adjustment concerns, and recommend appropriate interventions or support services.



This role also involves organizing orientation sessions, participating in events and seminars, and contributing to initiatives that enhance student satisfaction, retention, and career outcomes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong student-focused skills, including Student Counseling and Academic Advising.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Candidates should possess Career Counseling and Education-related skills to guide learners toward suitable academic and career pathways.
- Relevant skills such as relationship-building, problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively with faculty and administrative staff.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, comfort with digital tools and CRM/admission systems, and a proactive approach to student engagement and outreach.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, career opportunities, and academic pathways.
- Understand students interests, goals, and requirements and recommend suitable programs.
- Handle leads through calls, WhatsApp, meetings, and walk-ins.
- Convert prospective enquiries into successful admissions.
- Follow up consistently with prospective students and maintain a strong conversion pipeline.
- Achieve individual and team admission/revenue targets.




- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions.
- Build strong relationships with students and provide excellent pre- and post-admission support.
- Participate in seminars, career counselling sessions, events, and promotional activities.
- Stay updated about courses, industry trends, and career opportunities.
- Candidate Profile
- Experience: 2+ years in Academic Counseling, Career Counseling, Education Sales, Admissions, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong convincing, negotiation, and counseling abilities.
- Target-oriented with a solid sense of ownership.
- Confident in handling students, parents, and working professionals.
- Good command of English and Hindi.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
