We are looking for a Qualified Chartered Accountant with 3+ years of post-qualification experience to manage and oversee Direct Tax, GST, Accounting, and Compliance functions for an investment-management focused organisation. The ideal candidate will have robust practical knowledge of taxation and regulatory compliance, together with an understanding of financial services and investment industry practices. Preference will be given to candidates based in Mumbai, especially those residing in or near Vile Parle, and to candidates with experience in Investment Management, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Asset Management, Wealth Management, or related financial services businesses. Responsibilities Manage Direct Tax, GST, and statutory compliance activities for the organisation. Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, tax payments, and regulatory submissions. Handle tax assessments, notices, reconciliations, and maintain related documentation. Monitor changes in tax laws, amendments, and regulatory requirements and ensure timely implementation across the business. Oversee accounting activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. Coordinate with statutory auditors,



tax consultants, and other professional advisors; support statutory audits and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with applicable tax, accounting, legal, and regulatory requirements and identify/address potential tax and compliance risks. Provide guidance and support on taxation and compliance-related matters to internal stakeholders. Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and regulatory purposes. Qualifications Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience. Proven hands-on experience in Direct Tax, GST, and statutory compliance. Sound knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, amendments, and statutory requirements. Experience handling tax filings, assessments, audits, and related compliance matters. Experience in or exposure to Investment Management, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Asset Management, Wealth Management, or other financial services firms is strongly preferred. Mumbai-based candidates and those residing in/near Vile Parle will be preferred.
